This song went through different stages over the years. It was originally faster, with a different vocal and different beat. Although I loved the general tone and already recorded everything including a 9 piece string ensemble, I couldn't find a general direction. I wanted it to be somewhere between happy and sad, an ambiguous but very human mood that only music can recreate. But I got stuck with this song so many times to the point that I thought it was lost.

One night I had this weird dream of me living in a strange place that had a giant toad singing happily in a bathtub. I found that a bit scary - but also I was able to leave the house & fly over beautiful landscapes which put me into some kind of euphoria. I woke up with this song in my head and finally everything fell into place.
